2018 Ural Symposium on Biomedical Engineering,

Radioelectronics and Information Technology (USBEREIT)

IEEE sponsors: Russia (Siberia) Section

7-8 May 2018

Yekaterinburg, Russia

Venue:

Institute of Radiolectronics and Information Technologies – RTF, Ural Federal University,
32 Mira str, Yekaterinburg

The purpose of the 2018 Ural Symposium on Biomedical Engineering, Radioelectronics and Information Technology (USBEREIT) is to bring together researchers and practitioners from multiple areas of radio science, including radioelectronics, information technology, biomedical engineering and others.

USBEREIT is dedicated to the Radio Day, that takes place on 7 May in Russia. On 7 May 1895 Alexander S. Popov gave the first public demonstration of transmitting and receiving short, continuous signals over a distance up to 64 meters by means of electromagnetic waves to the Russian Physical and Chemical Society in St. Petersburg. A. S. Popov was born in Ural Region (currently Krasnoturyinsk city of Sverdlovsk Oblast).
